The National Academy of Sciences (NAS) recently published "From Science to Business: Preparing Female Scientists and Engineers for Successful Transitions into Entrepreneurship: Summary of a Workshop."  Judy was on Panel IV, "Alternative Forms of Entrepreneurships in Sustainable Technologies: Intrapreneurship in Corporations and Government, Social Entrepreneurship, and Traditional Entrepreneurship."

Lens of the Market workshop at CSP CCI, University of Minnesota

Judy and her partner Joseph Steig of NCIIA visited the Phase I CCI at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities, "Center for Sustainable Polymers (CSP)" to facilitate a Lens of the Market workshop.  A total of 15 graduate students, post docs and faculty from the Center participated.

Judy visited the Phase I CCI at Purdue University, "Quantum Information Center for Quantum Chemistry (QIQC)" to facilitate a Lens of the Market workshop.  A total of 16 graduate students, post docs and faculty from the Center participated.

Judy moderated the this year's first ACS Chemical Entrepreneurship Series Webinar on April 5, 2012 titled "Jobs in Startups – Differences and Similarities to 'Real' Companies".  Heidi Friedman of Boston Heart Diagnostics, and Dr. Chris Palatucci of Palatucci Executive Search, LLC, were the webinar panelists.  Watch the recorded webinar for more on:

Resources from National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA)

Judy presented "Resources from National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators Alliance (NCIIA)" at the 243rd American Chemical Society (ACS) National Meeting in San Diego, CA, in the "Entrepreneurship in the American Chemical Society" session. Her presentation covers the NCIIA's research to commercialization lens, NCIIA's impact and their programs.

Judy is a Senior Advisor to the NCIIA.
